Take a measurement from the top of your gunnel to the bottom of your trolling motor shaft when in the STOWED position. This measurement cannot exceed 9"for the STANDAD SIZE. Completely adjustable height from 5.75" up to 9" when measured from the top of gunnel to bottom of trolling motor shaft.
If a longer one is needed, please order the XL SIZE. This measurement cannot exceed 13.5" for the XL SIZE. Completely adjustable height from 10" up to 13.5" when measured from the top of gunnel to bottom of trolling motor shaft.
If your measurement is larger than 13.5" then we don't suggest the Mag Mount for your application. NOT RECOMMENDED FOR THE QUEST MINN KOTA. NOT RECOMMENDED FOR TROLLING MOTORS THAT DON'T SIT PARALLEL WITH THE GUNNEL WHEN STOWED. THIS WILL CAUSE MAGNETS NOT TO SIT FLUSH.

Great product, shipped fast!
This is a replacement for my original Mag Mount. Which by the way worked Perfectly even in rough seas. Through a set of circumstances, which were 100% my fault, I snapped the shaft. I called Sea Swival to see if I could get replacement parts, they offered to send out a replacement shaft at no charge. I explained needed more than just the shaft because it went overboard with the magnet. I asked if it would be better to purchase a new one because I needed multiple parts. They said yes and without my asking, they offered a substantial discount. 10 stars on customer service and quality of Mag Mount! Thank You Sea Swival. P.S. I added a sleeve made out of starboard to protect the threads and to serve as a handle.

This is my second sea swivel purchase, first was the mount, now the mag mount. These products are built very well. The mag mount, mounting instructions made install easy.
Mark has designed an awesome product that is an absolute must have if you are planning on mounting a trolling motor on your bow. The Sea Swivel trolling motor mount can accommodate any brand of trolling motor and is a solid clean design. It will allow you to stow your motor completely inboard of the rub rail of your boat while still fully deploying to its correct position. In my case Mark was available before and throughout the install to answer my questions regarding best placement as well as other trolling motor install questions that I had. Haven’t mounted it yet… The two mounting options are a good thing. Very well made and designed The only « minor issue » is the fixed magnet is black and not white as showed (any advice to paint it to be resistant under very heavy sun and UV). And there is an accessory that I haven’t understood yet 😂 Otherwise definitely the best handy choice to secure your trolling motor on rough sea. Good job
